Detroit police officer shoots self accidentally at headquarters

DETROIT (FOX 2) - A Detroit police officer accidentally shot herself at the headquarters Friday

The officer is in temporary serious condition, according to a spokesperson with the department, who said the incident happened at about 5 p.m. 

There has been no information released in regards to the circumstances of the shooting.
