Detroit police release photos of witness sought in fatal shooting of WSU officer

The Detroit police are looking for a possible witness in the murder of a Wayne State University police officer.

Police have released a short video and two pictures of the person who was in the area of Lincoln and Brainard at the time Officer Collin Rose was fatally shot, at 6:35 p.m. Nov. 22.

Police have arrested suspect DeAngelo Lamar Davis and charged him in the murder. Rose, 29, was a canine officer with Wayne State investigating reports of car break-ins in the area, which borders the campus district.

On Tuesday night, hundreds attended a candlelight vigil held on campus in memory of Rose.
