Detroit Public Schools remain closed Wednesday; see complete closing list

In a stark contrast to the last couple days a smaller amount of school districts will be closed Wednesday.

Leading the group is Detroit Public Schools which will remain closed for the third straight day.

In a statement on its website, it said: "Due to inclement weather, all Detroit Public Schools will be closed on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015. Central Office operations will remain open."
