A dying man crashed his car into a Detroit gas station after he was shot.

His vehicle came to rest at the Exxong as station in the 18900 block of Greenfield on the city's west side.

According to police, the incident actually began a couple streets away, closer to Margerita and Greenfield.

The 30-year-old victim was apparently heading northbound on Greenfield just before 9:30 p.m. Thursday when someone in a black SUV pulled up along side him and started shooting into his car. The victim was struck multiple times in the head, neck, shoulder and arm.

You can see the damage to a vacuum at the gas station where the victim's 2004 orange Pontiac Grand Prix came to a rest after hitting a couple cars along the way. It luckily avoided all of the gas pumps and the building itself.

We are told the gas station did turn over surveillance video to investigators, who will be looking over it to try and identify the suspects involved. Police aren't sure of a motive yet either.

Police believe at least two suspects were involved but haven't yet released descriptions.
