EB I-696 crash leads to 3 vehicle fires at I-275 in Farmington Hills

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (FOX 2) - A crash Tuesday morning on I-696 in Farmington Hills led to three vehicles catching fire.

According to the fire department, firefighters were called to eastbound I-696 near I-275 around 7:30 a.m. for a vehicle fire. When they arrived, they discovered that three vehicles were on fire after a crash.

The freeway fully reopened just after 9 a.m.

No injuries were reported.
