(FOX 2) - WEB UPDATE: Michigan State Police said that Christopher Snow has been recaptured Thursday night, 24 hours after escaping a psychiatric transport.
In a tweet from state police, it said Snow was taken into custody by Troy police and is en route to the Michigan Behavioral Center of Michigan.
MSP had been are searching for Snow, 21, last seen in Hazel Park Wednesday.
Snow was considered a danger to himself and others. Police say he is not to be approached or detained and witnesses who see him should call 911.
He was last seen climbing up the east embankment of I-75 into Hazel Park near I-696 at 10:15 a.m. yesterday.
Snow was being transported to the Behavioral Center of Michigan and escaped from the transporting vehicle.
He was described as white, 5 feet, 10 inches, 150 pounds with brown hair, blue eyes, with medium facial hair. He was wearing a tan jacket, tan hat and brown boots.
