The home where a 3-year-old child was shot over the weekend appears to have been the target of a firebombing overnight.

The mother of Jamar Quinn Jr. tells us their home in the 400 block of Campbell Street in River Rouge caught on fire. She tell us no one was inside at the time. She says they're all staying with relatives right now because their home has been the target of violence before.

Jamar was shot in the head while he was sleeping Saturday night. The shooting happened in the middle of the night, and police say the bullet came from the back of the house. Jamar's been hospitalized in critical condition since. We're told he is on life support.

"I just want my son to come home to his other brother, his other sister, to his family," said his mom, Danielle Davis. "I just want whoever, whoever you are, please come forward. Please."

We're told bullets were sprayed into the home another time, just about two weeks ago.

Police haven't released any information about the suspect or suspects at this time.

If you have any information about the shooting or the alleged firebombing, you're asked to contact police. You can also give your information anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
