(WJBK) - A family is begging the driver in a deadly hit and run to come forward.
The May 25th accident killed Leonard Ross, after he was struck around 10:20 at night. He was crossing Eight Mile at the corner of Wyoming when he was hit.
Ross, 65, was headed home from Shell gas station at the time, and crossed at the traffic light. Someone driving a black Chrysler 300 sped through the red light and hit him.
That car never stopped, continuing east on Eight Mile Road.
"If the person that did this is watching, just turn yourself in," said Lashawna Brantley, Ross' daughter. "Nobody is upset; we just want closure. My father is gone, and we just want closure for the family.
