Farmington doctor accused of kissing, groping 18-year-old patient

"I could feel his tongue on me."

It's the moment 18-year-old Samantha Skeen of Farmington says -- gives her nightmares every night.

“There are times I would rather not sleep for days, because I know that I have to see him every day."

In her nightmares -- 78-year-old Doctor Eliezer Monge -- who is now charged with assault and battery -- a misdemeanor. Skeen says back in June, she went to his office on Farmington and State Street because her stomach had been bothering her.

Skeen says Monge began saying several sexual things, and touching her inappropriately.

“He then reached her hand from a lying position to assist her into a sitting position, at which time he moved in for a kiss, to kiss her on the lips,” said Frank Demers, Director of Farmington Public Safety.

"Out of reflex, I pulled to the side and he kissed my neck," said Skeen.

Skeen says she immediately ran out of his office and called police.

"You leave just feeling just filthy," said Skeen.

"For him to violate her that way, violate her trust, violate her privacy as a victim it's just completely reprehensible,” said Demers.

Although Monge denies the allegations, a DNA sample from the victim’s neck and compared to with Monge’s. When sent to the Michigan State Police crime lab, they confirmed the DNA is a match. Longtime patients can't believe it.

“He's just been the best doctor I've ever had. Never has he ever done anything inappropriate."

A pretrial for Monge has been set for January 23rd. Farmington police, while reporting the incident to the state also believe:

"The brazenness of his actions certainly gives us the idea that perhaps there are more victims out there."

"I wasn’t somebody else to come forward,” said Skeen. “I want other people to say, ‘look this has happened to me.’ Let's get him.”
