Fire at Detroit's Old Shillelagh

A fire caused some damage at a popular Detroit pub early Tuesday morning.

Authorities say The Old Shillelagh caught fire around 6 a.m. in the kitchen area.

The fire looks to be an accident, and we're told it spread to the basement. It's not known yet how bad the damage is in the kitchen, and how long it will affect business.

The Old Shillelagh is a popular Irish pub in Detroit's Greektown area, and is a go-to for many on St. Patrick's Day.
