Ford is recalling 850,318 cars because of a low-pressure fuel pump failure problem that can cause the engine to stall while driving, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration wrote in a recall notice.
The agency explains that a faulty fuel pump in the cars can lower fuel flow from the tank to the engine, causing the engine to stall and elevating the risk of a crash.
