In a surprise move a congresional committee has issued a subpoena to former Flint emergency manager Darnell Earley.
They are demanding that he testify on the water crisis *tomorrow morning* in Washington DC.
Earley was previously invited to testify -- but refused. Earley's attorney tells CNN that they will not accept the subpoena because the timing of it quote "borders on nonsensical."
He says there is no way for Earley to book a plane -- or to prepare by tomorrow morning. But with or without Earley, congress will begin its investigation of the Flint water crisis.
Some of the people expected to testify are on their way to Washington DC right now and they're joined by bus loads of supporters.
