Former Fraser High School employee sentenced for sex crimes against teen student
FRASER, Mich. (FOX 2) - A former worker at Fraser High School was sentenced to 8-15 years in prison Wednesday for sex crimes against a teen student.
Robert William Lindsay II, 26, pleaded no contest to five counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and two counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct after he abused a 15-year-old girl by having a sexual relationship with her for months.
The backstory:
According to authorities, that sexual relationship lasted from January 2023 to October 2023. Sometimes the pair would have sex inside a storage room at the school. The crimes also happened at a Clinton Township home.
At one point, Lindsay, who was the auditorium manager at the school, even proposed to the girl, according to the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office. He resigned before he was arrested.
"We hope this outcome brings some measure of healing to the victim and underscores our commitment to safeguarding our children and holding perpetrators fully accountable," said Prosecutor Pete Lucido.
