Former Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander welcomes first child with Kate Upton

(WJBK) - A congratulations are in order for the Verlander family. 

Kate Upton gave birth to her first child Wednesday with her husband former Tigers pitcher, Justin Verlander. 

Upton posted a picture of their baby's hand and lip just a few hours ago. 

The new baby's name is Genevieve Upton Verlander.

The couple also recently just celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary.
