Fun events in Metro Detroit during holiday weekend

(WJBK) - There are a lot of fun events going on around Metro Detroit this holiday weekend.

The 45th annual St. Mary's Polish Country Fair in Orchard Lake brings out more than 125,000 visitors every year.

You can get all of your favorite polish treats at the nation's largest high school fair.

It runs until Monday and benefits the students at St. Mary's Preparatory.

If Greek food is more your thing, head to Bloomfield Hills.

The Yassoo Greek Festival has people shouting "opa" year after year.

Organizers light the cheese in a large cauldron, mimicking the lighting of a torch, like for the Olympics.

The festival runs through tomorrow.

People are also moving to the beat in downtown Detroit.

The Movement electronic music festival brings out tens of thousands of people each day for the three-day event.

Hundreds of acts are performing on six stages.

The event has been held at Hart Plaza for 10 years.
