Funeral arrangements for teen stabbed at Fitzgerald High School
WARREN, Mich. (AP) - Visitation and funeral arrangements have been set for a 16-year-old Detroit-area girl who was fatally stabbed by a classmate during a fight at school.
Visitation for Danyna Gibson will be held Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Hutchison Funeral Home in Detroit. Her funeral will be Wednesday at New St. Paul Missionary Church in Warren.
Seventeen-year-old Tanaya Lewis was arraigned Friday on a first-degree murder charge, two days after police say Gibson was stabbed twice in the upper chest with a steak knife in Fitzgerald High School.

Lewis was eventually pushed out of the classroom by a teacher but she fought to get back inside saying "I'm going to kill her", witnesses said. The whole time, witnesses said she was smiling and laughing.
Gibson was pronounced dead at a hospital about an hour later.
Lewis was denied bond during Friday's hearing.
Police said Lewis attacked Gibson after a boy Lewis was dating broke up with her.
The Fitzgerald High School community remembered their friend and classmate Thursday afternoon with a moment of silence and a balloon release. The question of school safety now the conversation among parents, some calling for metal detectors to be installed, including Danyna's dad.

"When I was back in high school we had metal detectors. You could not get through school to class without going through that metal detector," he said.
