Inkster, MI (WJBK) - Residents at the Cherry Hill Club Apartments in Inkster, are not happy. With no heat as the temperatures drop, they are now dealing with flooding in their homes.
“I smelled mildew when I first walked in and before could get to the patio, my feet were drenched in water,” resident Sharnice Duncan said.
Duncan who’s already without heat has only been in her residence for two months and says she is not satisfied.
Residents have been without heat since October, and BePlace the property manager says they are only able to issue one space heater per apartment.
The company explained in a statement that there were also leaks in the hot water lines, and are trying to locate the leaks to hopefully get the heat back on.
