Inkster police seek hit-and-run driver who fled after killing man on Michigan Avenue
INKSTER, Mich. (FOX 2) - Inkster police need help finding a driver who hit and killed a man while he crossed Michigan Avenue last month.
Police said Jacob Fountain was crossing the road just after 2 a.m. Sept. 7 when a driver turning onto eastbound Michigan Avenue from northbound Middlebelt Road hit him.
The driver, who was in a dark-colored Ford Flex, was last seen crossing into Dearborn Heights.
A $2,500 reward is being offered for information.
