Inmate found dead at Detroit Detention Center, MSP investigate

DETROIT, Mich - According to the Michigan Department of Corrections, a 61-year-old man was found dead at the Detroit Detention Center on Mound road. 

Police say the man was arrested Thursday for possession of drugs and brought to the detention center. 

He was found dead in a cell Saturday morning, police said. 

Michigan State Police are investigating this incident.
