(WJBK) - Authorities are expected to give an update Thursday on the investigation into the murder of Wayne State University Police Sgt. Collin Rose.
Wayne State University Police Chief Anthony Holt, Detroit Police Chief James Craig and Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy will hold a press conference at 2 p.m. at the Wayne State University Police Department.

Rose, 29, was fatally shot late November 2016 while investigation possible car thefts. He radioed that he was about to speak to someone on a bike, and was shot in the head during the stop at Brainard and Lincoln, an area off campus.
He was taken to the hospital where he went into surgery. Although he survived the surgery, he later died from his injuries.
