Lamborghini driver arrested after crashing into tree along Woodward
BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. (WJBK) - A Lamborghini driver was arrested last week in Bloomfield Hills after a car accident.
The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. July 7 on Woodward Avenue, just south of Long Lake Road. Witnesses told police they saw a 2015 Lamborghini Huracan speed by, lose control and hit a tree in the center median of Woodward.
Both the driver and passenger were treated and released for minor injuries.
The 39-year-old driver from Bloomfield Township was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, and is awaiting the results of a blood draw to determine his blood alcohol level.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
