Lane closures along I-75, 696, US 24 for pothole patching

Expect closures on some of the busiest sections of Metro Detroit highways for emergency patching Thursday.

Contracted crews repairing the worst of the pavement on I-696, I-75, and US-24 (Telegraph), while county crews patrol for potholes. At times there will only be one lane open.

Closures will begin on west bound I-696 from I-75 to Woodward and both north and south bound I-75 ramps closing to WB I-696 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Also scheduled: 

7 a.m. to 9 a.m. - two right lanes open, two left closed with I-75 ramps closed.

9 a.m. to 3 p.m. - only right lane open, three left lanes closed with I-75 ramps closed.

3 p.m. to 7 p.m. - two right lanes open, two left closed with I-75 ramps closed.

I-696 in Macomb:

EB I-696 from Dequindre to Van Dyke 
 
7 a.m. to 3 p.m. only right lane open, three left closed

3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. two right open, two left closed.
 
I-75 in Oakland: SB I-75 from Adams and Crooks: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. only left lane open, two right closed

US-24/Telegraph in Oakland:
               
SB US-24 from Hickory Grove and Long Lake:

8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. only right lane open, two left closed.
