Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown checks out bakery's life-size cake of his headstand celebration
ROCHESTER, Mich. (FOX 2) - A Rochester bakery's life-size cake of Amon-Ra St. Brown has gone viral online - and was something the Detroit Lion had to see for himself on Monday.
Consider it a rare moment of art meeting inspiration - or on Monday inspiration meeting art. The star Lions receiver sent fans into a frenzy outside Home Bakery in Rochester, checking out the cake of his headstand touchdown celebration.
"I was like I've gotta come check it out," said St. Brown.
FOX 2: "To see it in person, what do you make of it?"
"It’s bigger than I thought, golly," St. Brown said. "It's huge, but it looks amazing. The detail is crazy, everything.
"The city is excited, we’re excited. We can’t wait, obviously the playoffs just started. It’s awesome to be here and see the fans and how excited everyone is."
The playoffs for the Lions begin 8 p.m. Saturday against the Commanders at Ford Field for the Divisional Round.

Of course the touchdown celebration that has been immortalized from everything including T-shirts to Christmas tree ornaments and beyond, came on a fourth down catch at Green Bay by St. Brown, back on Nov. 3.
But that isn't the only viral online tribute to his headstand - a giant snowman tribute was made by one local fan.
FOX 2: "Did you hear about the snow sculpture of you?"
"I saw that yesterday," he said. "One of my homies sent me that. It’s just insane."
Mary Racook is one of the co-owners of the bakery, and was onhand for the bakery's special visitor - and the huge crowd Monday.
This week, the bakery is raffling off free tickets to Saturday’s home playoff game with a purchase.
FOX 2: "Did you ever think one cake would get so much attention?"
"Not at all," she said. "We knew a little something but nothing quite this big. I mean, to go worldwide, like viral, it’s just been insane — from the NFL to Sports Illustrated."
She says the cake has gotten the locally-owned sweets shop national and international attention. Many people stopped by the storefront just for a photo.
Fans waited up to two hours to buy a baked good. Home Bakery’s raffle for the playoff tickets ends Thursday.
