Livonia man running fake modeling agency gets 10 years for child porn; promised $100k to women

DETROIT (WJBK) - A Livonia man who pleaded guilty to child pornography charges has been sentenced to a little more than 10 years in prison.

Ryan Ulman admitted in federal court that he requested a 17-year-old female to take and send him images for his 'modeling agency'. That agency was later determined to be non existent, which he admitted in court.

Ulman admitted that he ran the fake modeling agency from 2014 to 2017. He would ask women for photos and promise that they could make up to $100,000 per year with the nude and sexual photos. He said that he did not have any modeling clients and kept the photographs, including some of underage girls, for his personal use.

Ulman was arrested back in January when a sex trafficking investigation in Flint led the FBI to him and his agency "Instinct Entertainment". The feds said they found hundreds of explicit images on his computer. He was sentenced to 125 months, or a little more than 12 years, on Tuesday.
