Cadillac Escalade
LIVONIA, Mich. (WJBK) - Police are warning students and parents to be on the lookout after two suspicious incidents involving strangers in Livonia.
One of them happened outside Clarenceville High School on Middlebelt around 11:30 Wednesday morning.
Police say a 16-year-old female student says she was followed into the parking lot by a man driving a Cadillac Escalade. The man rolled his window down and the two spoke for about a minute before he asked her to get in his car. She didn't and went back into the school and told an administrator.
He's said to be a black man in his 30's with short black hair and a muscular build.
Livonia Police are also investigating a second suspicious incident that happened Wednesday near Garfield Elementary School. That's in the area of Minton and West Chicago.
A Johnson Upper Elementary School student says she was walking to the bus stop around 7:30 when she was followed by a man. He's described as being about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing black jeans and a black hoodie with white lettering on the front. He had white shoes and a red and blue baseball cap. He may have been driving a four-door sedan with rust and tinted windows.
Police say there was no verbal or physical contact between the man and the student.
