Livonia water main break leaves a hundred homes, businesses without water

LIVONIA, Mich. (FOX 2) - Crews are on the scene of a water main break near 6 Mile Road and Inkster.

A 16-inch main broke just after midnight, causing 6 Mile Road to be closed from Inkster to Harrison.

About a hundred homes and businesses in the area don't have water at this hour.

Crews on the scene tell us once its fixed, there should be no need for a boil water alert.
