New children's book Austin's Allergies raises awareness about food allergies

Endorsed by doctors from Johns Hopkins University, a new children's book has been published to help educate people about food allergies.

Titled "Austin's Allergies," the book was inspired by the author's son, who has several life-threatening food allergies. Erin Mandras has partnered with the Allergy & Asthma Network.

She said a portion of proceeds will be donated to research and education and is available for purchase www.austinsallergies.com, but is also available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
