Lockdowns lifted at Center Line schools for nearby police situation

A lockdown affecting multiple schools in Center Line has been lifted Wednesday morning.

An official with the superintendent's office told FOX 2 three schools were in lockdown mode due to a nearby police situation. The school's central offices were also locked down.

The school official said police told them a barricaded gunman situation was happening on Dale Street, but that it has now been resolved.

Lockdowns at Center Line High School, Wolfe Middle School and Peck Elementary were lifted just after 9 a.m.
