Man dies from self-inflicted gunshot wound at Elizabeth Park
TRENTON, MICH (Fox 2) - A man from Ann Arbor died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound inside of Elizabeth Park Saturday evening.
The Trenton Police Department said they were called to the park at about 7 p.m. for a "suicidal subject," when they located a vehicle with the man's body inside. Police said it was an "apparent" self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The man was in his 50's and from Ann Arbor, no further information was released to avoid identifying him before family was notified.
The park will remain closed Saturday night, and will re-open sometime Sunday morning.
