Man kills wife at children's play center in Marysville before taking own life
MARYSVILLE, Mich. (WJBK) - A child's birthday party turns to horror when a woman is gunned down inside a play center in St. Clair County.
The person who killed Cheryl Myny investigators say, was her husband, Matthew Pilarowski who was very angry after a disagreement earlier.
Myny, 32, was the owner of the play center called Jump N Jam, where she was shot and killed in front of children on Saturday. Pilarowski later died by suicide.
"I was scared, I'm still shook -up," said a co-worker. "They were in an argument and she was going to a different place. And (he) came in and argued with her about it and then left, came back is what the manager here told me."
We are learning more about the mother of two and her love for the play center in videos by EBW TV.
Pilarowski left the Jump N Jam after the shooting and went back to the couple's home where he fatally shot himself.
Marysville, a town of less than 10,000, is left shaken. Jump N Jam was known as a popular place for parents to take their kids.
Closure will be hard, an escape for kids, a crime scene now left without a mother or a father.
"She loves her kids so much," said a co-worker.
