WARREN, Mich. (FOX 2) - Warren Police said they're investigating the murder of a man who was found shot to death in the backyard of a home and that two women may be involved.
Police said they were called to a report of gunshots at a home on Paige Ave near 9 Mile and Van Dyke early Friday morning. When police arrived, they found a 23-year-old man shot to death in the backyard of the home with multiple gunshots.

As police investigated and talked with witnesses nearby, they learned that the shooting happened after an earlier domestic violence incident involving the victim, his girlfriend, and some of her family members.
Police said they ultimately found the ex at a home on Jewett Ave, about half a mile north of where the man was found.
The Special Response Team was called to assist to make sure everyone inside was safe. Two women were found inside and were taken to the Warren Police Department for questioning.
Investigators said that's where they learned a 32-year-old man, a relative of one of the women, was likely involved in the shooting. He was inside a home on Thomas Street, about five miles away. Police arrested him without incident.
Police said there is no threat to the public and all people involved were taken into custody within 8 hours of the shooting.
Warren police said the shooting is still under investigation.
