Man's body recovered from Detroit River near Milliken State Park

DETROIT (WJBK) - A man's body was recovered in the Detroit River near Milliken State Park Monday afternoon.

Police said the 48-year-old man died after he went overboard on a boat and had been in the water for an hour.

The Detroit Police Dive Team, U.S. Coast Guard and Harbor Master conducted a search for the man before finding him shortly after 6 p.m.

Milliken State Park is located off Atwater Street near Chene Park.
