LENAWEE COUNTY, Mich. (FOX 2) - A woman is facing drunk driving charges stemming from a crash that happened months ago in Tecumseh Township.
According to Michigan State Police, Holly Schmidt was driving a Jeep Wrangler south on Tecumseh Clinton Hwy. when she hit a GMC Terrain that ws traveling northbound around 9:30 p.m. Aug. 14.
The crash killed the driver of the GMC, a 72-year-old Clinton man, and injured his passenger, a 75-year-old woman.
After a long investigation, Schmidt, 38, was arrested Tuesday and charged with one count of operating causing death and one count of operating while intoxicated causing serious injury. Her bond was set at $75,000.
