Chelsea Small would have turned 32 on Aug. 8.

She was gunned down in a daytime armed robbery at Advance America cash advance in Taylor on Nov. 12, 2013.

Small, 30, a mother of two, was gunned down in an armed robbery Nov. 12 while at work at Advance America, 8229 Telegraph.

The shooter, a stocky white man between 35 and 50 years old, was never caught.

Small was working alone in the store when the man was buzzed in just after 12 p.m.

A single mom, Small left behind an 8-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son.

Her mother Debi Kamen and Taylor Det. Steven Schwein joined Ron Savage to talk about the unresolved case.

"I feel that the kids need closure on this aspect of it," Kamen said. "And I made my daughter a promise that I would see things through and be there for the kids. This is part of it."

Advance America is offering a $50,000 reward, Crime Stoppers $2,500 for information that leads to the arrest of Small's killer.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Taylor Police Department at (734) 287-6611 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP. Tips can be given anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
