Mary Bishop is sick with worry.

Her 15-year-old son Nathaniel Bishop has been missing for two weeks. On Friday, May 25th, he got on his bike and left the Chesterfield Township mobile home park he lives in with his mom and younger brother near 24 Mile and Gratiot.

"It's hard, I can't eat, I can't sleep," she said.

For 14 days no one has seen or heard from the L'Anse Cruse North High School sophomore.

"He was dressed in a shirt, shorts, flip-flops," said Lt. Brian McNair, Chesterfield Police Department. "We have not heard from him, none of his friends have heard from him, there is nothing on social media.

And now a massive search in northern Chesterfield Township is planned for Saturday.  Police are hoping to find some sign of Nathaniel as they gear up to search residential and wooded areas from 23 Mile to 26 Mile roads

"This is going to be a foot search, the canines have been out the last couple days," McNair said. "We've had drones up the last couple days. And on Saturday hopefully we are going to have some horses, some ATVs and some officers on foot."

"I thank (everyone) for all the love and support that we've received so far," Mary said.

And while police aren't seeking civilian volunteers for the search, Nathaniel's mother wants to get the poster with his photos on it, to as many neighborhoods and businesses as possible.

She also has a heartfelt message.

"I just want to say please bring my son (back), I need him home, bring him home safe" she said. "If Nathaniel hears this, he needs to know he must miss his brother very much. We all miss him very much."

Crime Stoppers is offering a $2500 reward for information leading to Nathaniel Bishop being found. Please call them at 1-800-SPEAK-UP or the Chesterfield Police Department at (586) 949-2322.
