A plea deal for a Detroit woman caught abusing her young son.

FOX 2 first showed you this shocking video of Rolaunda Paul last month. The woman was walking on Minden Street near Detroit City Airport Thursday evening and it appears she intentionally trips the 2-year-old. And while the boy is on the ground appears to kick the toddler.

She also picked him up, shakes him and smacks his face on the video, taken outside an apartment complex.

We have learned Paul has accepted a plea deal of fourth degree child abuse, which is a misdemeanor.

In return, her second degree felony child abuse charge has been dropped.

She will be sentenced next month.

Her sister spoke to FOX 2 last month and said Paul is ashamed for her actions.

"She would never do anything to hurt him," Daisha McDonald said. "As you can see, he looks like a nice, young man. He's not in any harm."
