Monroe shooting: 1 dead, another injured during carjacking; suspects arrested in Ohio
MONROE, Mich. (FOX 2) - Two Monroe shooting suspects are in custody in Ohio after law enforcement pursued the stolen vehicle, Monroe Police say.
Investigators say one suspect suffered a gunshot wound and is in an unknown condition. The two were allegedly wanted in connection to a carjacking that killed one person and injured another in Monroe on Saturday.

The incident happened outside the Highlander Market, which is located at 1030 E Front.
Police say two people were shot during a carjacking. One victim died at the scene; the other was transported to the hospital and was listed in critical condition.
"We are deeply saddened by this senseless criminal act. An innocent life was taken tonight," Monroe Police said.
Police shared pictures of the two suspects and the vehicle that was stolen during their search.
The stolen vehicle was a Ford F-150 with a Michigan plate of EML1504.
Police are expected to share more information on Sunday regarding this incident.
