Natalie Cole, daughter of jazz great Nat "King" Cole who carried on his legacy, has died.
According to TMZ, Cole died at a Los Angeles hospital. She was 65.
Cole passed away from congestive heart failure, although underlying medical issues were hepatitis C and complications from a kidney transplant.
She recently had to cancel several concert tour dates due to illness.
Cole had a string of hits during her career, including "This Will Be" and "Unforgettable."
Cole's 1991 album, "Unforgettable ... With Love," sold some 14 million copies and won six Grammys. It featured reworked versions of some of her father's best-known songs.
