Identities of two men killed in SUV crash in Ann Arbor released

A horrific crash killed two men at US-23 and Geddes Tuesday afternoon in Ann Arbor.

Two people died Tuesday when an SUV hit a semi on US-23 in Ann Arbor.

Both 66-year-old Stephen Rohacs of Pinckney and 54-year-old Leonard Hershey from Detroit were killed in the accident.

The northbound lanes of the freeway are currently closed at Geddes Road due to the crash. The freeway was closed for several hours before reopening in the early evening.

Their SUV was heading south when it crossed the median and hit a Honda Civic and then a semi-truck just after 1:15 p.m. Both of those drivers were uninjured.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
