No one injured in large garage fire in Whitmore Lake

Members of the Northfield Fire Department, which serves Whitmore Lake, said that no one was injured in a garage fire that started at about 1:30 p.m. on Shady Beach Lane.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Firefighters said that they "stopped," the fire, meaning the structure wasn't a total loss.
