One suspect identified in string of Family Dollar store robberies
DETROIT (WJBK) - One suspect in a string of Family Dollar store robberies has been identified.
Police said 48-year-old Darryl Smith is one of two men suspected of holding up at least five stores on Detroit's west side.
Smith is a parole absconder who has previously served time for armed robbery.
Police believed Smith and another man are responsible for string of robberies that began on June 11.
Four of the five robberies have taken place on Grand River.
