Pedestrian killed, 2 injured in crash on Woodward

DETROIT (FOX 2) in - A man in a black Sedan traveling south on Woodward Avenue struck and killed a pedestrian in his 60s on Wednesday, according to Detroit police.

A 60-year-old pedestrian was hit and killed on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. The driver kept going and rear-ended another vehicle.
The driver, who is in his 20s, kept going and rear-ended a vehicle before stopping in front of Little Caesars Arena, according to police.
The suspect and the driver of the rear-ended car were injured in the crash and are currently hospitalized but expected to recover, Detroit police said. The suspect is in custody.

A warrant is being sought for a blood draw to determine if the driver was under the influence.
