Phone video captures Lodge shooting incident after traffic crash
DETROIT (WJBK) - One person was injured after a shooting on the Lodge freeway near Seven Mile which happened after a two car crash.
The incident happened on the southbound side at about 6 p.m. and the incident was captured on cell phone video by Facebook user Deandre Evans.
CAUTION: The language in the video is explicit.
A witness filmed the viral Facebook video on his cell phone from an overpass. In the video, a man emerges with a long gun from a white Chrysler sedan pulled over to the shoulder behind a second car which is parked ahead of him.
He then walks toward the second car with his long gun in hand. A second person gets back into a dark colored sedan in an attempt to flee when the first person points the weapon and fires at them.
The second person in the dark colored car gets back in and tries to flee as the shot is fired.
Another person was injured in the incident, and taken to Sinai Grace Hospital. The second man was arrested by police.
