Shelby Twp's Romero's Mexican restaurant looks for new name while serving up Cinco de Mayo specials
SHELBY TWP., Mich. (FOX 2) - You might not think three laid-off veterans in the restaurant business with families from Russia the Philippines and Albania could open a Mexican restaurant in Macomb County with an Italian name - but it’s become one of the most popular places around.
And Cinco de Mayo this year is a little different because of the pandemic, but this year-old restaurant is looking for a new name in a $500 contest.
