Southwest Detroit shooting kills man, wounds girl in nearby house

A double shooting in southwest Detroit has killed one person and injured a teen.

A 27-year-old man was shot to death at McGraw and Proctor when three suspects ambushed him, opening fire.

One of the stray bullets wounded the girl inside a house nearby. Police say the bullet went through either the wall or a window before wounding her hand. She is expected to recover.

Police are searching for three suspects who opened fire on the man who had been standing near a taco truck. They are described as three black males fled from a nearby alley. No description has been released by police.
