First Step, a program that provides crisis counseling, advocacy, information and support to survivors of domestic and sexual violence has an opportunity for a 'Survivor Advocate.' Candidates provide services to clients in a manner that promotes trust, growth and non-violence. This is a full-time position at a Western Wayne County location. Qualifications include BSW/BA in human services; Masters Degree/MSW a plus. Significant experience working effectively with persons victimized by domestic/sexual violence as well as diverse populations.
