GROSSE POINTE, Mich. - Grosse Pointe Police are asking for the publics help identifying a bank robber. The robbery happened at 12:40 Saturday afternoon at the Chase Bank on St. Clair.
Police say the suspect handed the teller a note implying he had a bomb in his backpack. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, and the suspect walked out the bank's rear entrance. The suspect could be seen heading towards Notre Dame, and possibly fled in a 2008/2009 dark Chevrolet Malibu.
Surveillance pictures show the suspect as a thin black male. He was wearing a black Detroit Tigers hat, button down shirt with a black blazer and black sneakers. He was also wearing a black backpack.
