Suspected human remains found on Detroit's east side by AT&T worker

The Detroit Police Department says they're investigating human remains found on the city's east side Thursday morning.

According to Detroit Police, an AT&T worker called 911 around 9:45 Thursday to report that he discovered what he thought was human remains. Police say it was what appears to be a human skull and bones.

The suspected remains were found just west of Chalmers and just north of I-94.

Detroit police is waiting for the medical examiner to determine if they are human or not.

An anonymous neighbor tells FOX 2 he sees prostitution all the time in the area.
