Three teens charged with plotting mass shooting at Linden High School and Linden Middle School

Three teens have been charged with felonies in what police are calling a possible plot to shoot-up Linden Middle and High schools.

Argentine Township police say they were made aware and acted upon information they had received that there was a plan circulating about a school shooting that was to take place at Linden High School and Linden Middle School.

Argentine Township police turned the evidence over to the FBI where agents immediately began to investigate.

During the investigation, police say the suspects were identified and information was found including details of a recent firearms purchase and information that the shooting was aimed at certain targets at the school.

Charged are Lamar Michael Dukes, 15, of West Bloomfield, Cody Anthony Brewer, 15, of Wolverine Lake and Ryan William Stevens, 18, of Linden.

All are charged with Conspiracy to commit first-degree premeditated murder and false report or threat of terrorism. The three boys face life in prison if convicted.

Dukes and Brewer are currently being lodged at the Genesee Regional Detention Center.
