Tigers switch to mobile-only tickets at Comerica Park for 2019 season

Starting next season, you won't be able to get into a Tigers game with a paper ticket anymore. The team has switched to using a mobile-only ticketing system.

You can get into the park by showing your tickets on the Major League Baseball Ballpark App, or on the StubHub App. The ticket agent will then scan the barcode from your phone to let you in.

All PDF tickets, either printed or screenshotted on your phone, will no longer be accepted as a method of entry for Detroit Tigers games at Comerica Park. If you don't have access to a smartphone, call the Comerica Park Box Office at 313-471-2200 in advance or visit the Box Office on game day to get your tickets.

The digital technology reduces the chance of fraudulent tickets, allows for convenient online transfer and re-sale of tickets and provides a user-friendly platform for the online management of tickets.

If you have tickets to Tigerfest at Comerica Park on Jan. 26, that's when the mobile-only entry will begin.
